Linda’s Black & White vs Color Photo Challenge

The amazing Dragon Queen, a.k.a Linda, over at started a fun black and white vs. color photo challenge! Grab your camera and join in on the fun!

Frodo & Roda

Many of you know that I have a passion for animals and photography.  Put the two together, and I have found pure bliss!  This photo represents my passion beautifully!  I owe all the credit to Wifey, who patiently stood out in the freezing cold for this shot.

I am a nut about black and white photography.  But, even I can’t decide between these two shots.  I enjoy the timeless feel of the black and white, but I also love the color tones!  I am going to break the rules and choose both!

Which one is your favorite!?

Love Yourself…Embrace Yourself…Just Be You…

  1. Aha!!! You are starting to sound like me! I love the black and white but the honey tones of your hair and the contrast of Frodo’s grey-brown fur is luscious. Thanks for doing another post for the challenge. Even I haven’t done one in a while so I appreciate you keeping the idea going. I’m sure “ll have some of the pups. It’s Puppy Eve! I should go to bed but I’m too excited.

    1. Puppy!!!! I can’t wait! I met a woman last night that has 4 Danes!! You should have seen the look on Wifey’s face when she thought about 4 in the House! (I have shared Walter stories!!😂)

      1. Hahaha! Danes are like potato chips…you can’t have just one. Greta (I think) is just lovely. Friendly and sweet. She seems to really be taken with Bill which is a very good thing. Not as much of a chance of jealousy since Walter owns me. There will be stories…many stories coming up that you can recite to Wifey. Send her a hug for me. 🤗

  2. Color one for me this time! Love the hair and the tones. In addition, the two small touches of red on your camera attract attention. It’s perfect with your post, which mentions your love of animals and your passion for photography. In the B&W, the camera is less present.
