Signs of Spring

Unfortunately, the temperatures have dropped and that evil four letter word is scheduled to return!  SNOW! (Insert temper fit!)  I decided that I could let Jack Frost steal my happiness or I could go on my own hunt for Spring!  As the sun was setting, I took a walk in the back woods, hoping to find a color other than white or brown!  And guess what I discovered… green! And, what a beautiful green it was…

A thin layer of ice is all that remains…

Look at that green!  The fairies will be coming soon!

This old log was covered with life…

I couldn’t help myself…I had to look more closely and see if anything was residing in that hole!

Look at that bright green life, living in that tiny hole!

This was such a beautiful sight!

If you pay close attention, life is happening, even in the darkest corners…

March is a time to celebrate the small gifts from Mother Nature.  There are times in life when beauty feels difficult to locate.  Remember to persevere…  Always look beyond the surface and discover the hidden beauty of life.

Grab your camera and join me in celebrating the Signs of Spring…

Love Yourself…Embrace Yourself…Just Be You…

  1. I so hope we don’t lose the beautiful blooms on the Bradford Pear, Redbud, Weeping Cherry trees and the Forsythia, Red Quince bushes. The tulip magnolias are gorgeous. All of these are bursting with color!! We are expecting night temps in the middle to upper 20s this week.
