The Gift of Gratitude: The Moon

Today celebrates Day 4 of my 31 Days of Gratitude.  The past few nights have been gorgeous, with Luna’s light shining through our windows.  Last night was the beautiful Full Moon of December, known as the Cold Moon, reminding us that colder temperatures are on the way.  I am grateful for Luna’s light, especially during the darker days of Winter.  She is my snowy night-light, many evenings on the farm, when I am completing chores and tucking in the animals for the night.

The full moon is also a wonderful reminder that all cycles have their own time of fulfillment.  Remember to celebrate your accomplishments, regardless of the length of time it has taken to complete a specific goal, project or task.

  1. Great catch! It was too cloudy here to see the moon clearly, I really wanted to take a pic when it was at its peak the other night. I will have to wait for clearer skies around here (so, May?) 🙂
