The Gift Of Gratitude: Silence

Today celebrates Day 3 of my 31 Days of Gratitude. Each Sunday, my post is titled “Be Still”.  To continue with that theme, my gift of Gratitude for Day 3 is Silence.

As much as I am passionate about communication, I do need silence to quiet my mind.  When life brings confusion and turmoil, the best solution is to just stop, do nothing and be still, allowing life to unfold as it is meant to be.  Embrace the silence and trust in your journey.

  1. I work at home part-time so have hours of silence (luckily my pet parrot isn’t too loud). I have learned to treasure it, too. I know it helps keep my bipolar moods in check, especially the hypomania and mania. Of course I do like to go out a little bit each day to see people I know, and I love my time with my husband when he returns from work.

I also want to mention that I was nominated for a new Christmas Tag a couple of days ago, and thought of you as one of my nominees. Of course I have no idea which of my blog friends celebrate Christmas or like to participate in such tags/awards. If you do, please find the tag at . The questions are very pleasant to answer and helped me get into the Christmas spirit. Please let me know if you’d like to accept the nomination. All the best!
