Happy Birth Month Eve!!!

Today is such a wonderful holiday!  Children are munching on chocolate and are decorated in amazing colorful outfits, all in celebration of the Eve of my Birth Month!

You mean there is a different holiday today?

Oh…well, in that case, Happy Halloween and Happy Birth Month Eve to ME!!

Tomorrow I will kick off my very own personal celebration, using the familiar holiday  tune…”The 12 Days of Christmas“, which will now be known as, “The Twelve Days of Roda”!  This song will take us through my post birthday, on November 12th!

Get your party hats and noise makers out, for it is time to celebrate!

Nature’s Lens

I have been wanting to create a space to display all of my nature photography, for a long time.  I especially enjoy all of my insect photos and would love to display them in the house, but Wifey says, “no spider photos in the house”!  I choose my battles wisely and this is not one I am ready to tackle…especially if I want Santa to bring me mini donkey or a new camera lens! hee-hee

For now, I will enjoy my spider and praying mantis collection, among other beautiful critters, on my new site    https://natureslensbyroda.com/

I will continue a few photo challenges through Growing Self, but the majority of my photography will now be displayed on my new photo gallery site.

As always, thank you for your support and beautiful comments!

Roda’s Critter Connection Challenge

10-7-17 023.JPG

I have had an amazing time capturing my favorite tiny critters for the past 40 days.  I have to admit, I am sad that today is the last day of my photo challenge.  But, guess what!?  I have decided to kick off each week, with a Critter Connection Photo!  Many of you will be excited to have a break from insects, due to the weather in Michigan.  I am excited to move on to my larger, furry friends!

Feel free to join me in celebrating Mother Earth’s Creatures each Monday.   No critter is too big or too small!    One critter…one photo…it is that simple.

If you choose to participate, feel free to link up to my Monday posts.  I love to see all of the amazing critter photography out there!  Until next Monday, I will leave you with this adorable photo of Indie!  Happy Halloween!
