Stand Tall and Hold Your Head High

I become completely giddy over sunflowers!  As difficult as it is for me to have a favorite flower, if forced to choose, the perky sunflower would be my one and only choice!  I would hands down choose a bouquet of simple sunflowers over a dozen roses any day.

Sunflowers are filled with positivity, spreading seeds of happiness wherever they GROW.  Regardless if they are planted by the human hand or a critter’ s paw, they rise throughout the season, to shine brightly, holding their head up high, never contemplating their shadow.  What an amazing lesson we can learn from this sunshiny friend.

Like the sunflower, we all bloom in our own time…

Beginning to Blossom…
Bloom Baby, Bloom!
Stand Tall and Be Free!

Always remember to…

Stand Tall

Hold Your Head High

BLOOM where you are PLANTED

  1. Those are gorgeous pictures! 🙂 I was thinking about blooming and planting and such this weekend, tho’ perhaps not quite as positively as you have done so here. I was trying to figure out why the heck my water lily hasn’t bloomed in several years. I’ve repotted it recently so it’s not too crowded in the pot, I fertilize it every 2 weeks like the guides tell you to do during peak season, but for the last 3-4 years it hasn’t bloomed. I finally figured out this weekend that I think some of the trees have grown too tall and it’s not getting the sun it used to get. I’m not sure how to fix that without completely moving the water garden to another section of the yard tho’, so that requires some thinking. Then I also thought of that as a metaphor for life. How we can be doing well, growing and blooming, but then sometimes obstacles come along and we’re no longer getting that sun we need to blossom and we have to figure out ways to change things so we can once again blossom and grow.

I really love the photos tho’. Beautiful!
