Be Still

Last week, I spent 5 beautiful days with Mother Nature.  Time away brings me such clarity and peace.  Life is truly a balance between what we can control and what we cannot.

I created a list of areas that are an important part of BALANCE in my life.  This list is a guide and acts as a visual reminder for me daily.  Taking time to reflect on life is so important.  The following list is a wonderful reminder of the necessities for “Living in Balance”.

  • Friends & Family
  • “Me” Time
  • Nutrition & Exercise
  • Intellectual Stimulation
  • Sense of Purpose/Spirituality
  • Creativity
  • Rest
  • Career

Be Still…ask yourself if your life is in BALANCE.  Are there areas you could GROW, allowing yourself to discover an even stronger BALANCE? Focus on the life you truly desire for yourself and make sure your decisions align with those desires.  Only then will you truly find peace and balance…

  1. Awesome Reminder. It is truly needed. I use to be part of the people who had a very active social life, work, more work and even more work. I wasn’t paying much attention to the real meaning of health, balance, life, and what happiness actually means. It wasn’t until I founded the Wild Cabbage Company, had a son, and took a step back that I realize you are the peace you create for yourself.

  2. I love this; I’ve spent the first half of the month trying to figure out how to get out to nature when our Province is full of wildfires and camping doesn’t seem to be much of an option. This week however, I’m going to make it happen!!
