Self-Love

So often, I see posts of individuals struggling with self-love.  We are all human, therefore no one is perfect.  If I could make one wish, it would be for Everyone to look in the mirror and love each and every ounce of what they see.

The moment you learn to Love Yourself…Embrace Yourself and Just Be You… is the moment you will blossom on the inside and out.  I end my posts this way, as a daily reminder to myself.  These are the words I live by…these are the words that set me free…

As Always,

Love Yourself…Embrace Yourself…Just Be You…

  1. Often what lies broken in us is the shiny armor we put around our hearts and so the light that does come in is often a bit scary to us. Letting the light in can be a difficult decision to make but once you’ve done it things seem so much clearer.
Thank you for reminding me that by no means can you love someone else if don’t embrace yourself. You are absolutely right Roda.
may your life always be filled with that light of lovind kindness

  2. Well said, Roda! You are so right in saying that ‘self-love’ for some is a struggle. Sadly, I’ve been there and it can be tough to overcome those internal or external conflicts that are affecting us. I overcame those insecurities within myself by making the decision to see myself as more than just skin and bones. I dug deeper and found the Cherylene that I always was but was blinded by all the noise around me.
Self-love takes practice, whispering sweet somethings to ourselves and rewarding ourselves from time to time because we are so WORTH IT. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
