A few weeks ago, I focused on what to do when life gives you lemons. Most of the time, I choose to make lemonade. But, what about those times when you can’t make lemonade and you don’t have the answers to solve the problem? Then what? These have been my questions over the past week. Yesterday, it came to me. I was looking through photos, from our anniversary trip to the Big Island last October. There it was… My answer was picture perfect…
I must learn to ride the waves!
I tend to be a visual learner. Yesterday, for some reason, when I was perusing over 1500 photographs I took on our 10 day trip, I found myself pulled to the images of water. Then, phrases started to pop into my head:
Yesterday was a perfect reminder that life does not always give us answers when we want them. Learning to live with the unknown is a wonderful lesson in trust. We must trust in the universe and the greater plan, knowing that eventually everything will connect and come together. I am a strong believer in fate. I know that my journey will be revealed and I will be guided along the way when the time is right. If only I could give fate a little push! (Wink-Wink)
Ironically, I have been given a strong reminder to trust and live in the moment. (I tend to be given that theme often in life!) Find gratitude in today. Focus on the gifts you have been given today. Embrace and love life for exactly what it is at this very moment. With that, I am going to create my imaginary surf board and learn to ride some waves!
Love Yourself…Embrace Yourself…Just Be You…
